In 2018, I began my journey into the world of Reiki, a fascinating method of energy work. In 2021, I achieved the title of Reiki Master. Additionally, in 2023, I completed training as a Human Energetician at WIFI to further deepen my skills in working with human energy.

Reiki is a Japanese technique based on the idea that we are all permeated with life energy. As a Reiki Master, I can channel and direct this energy to dissolve blockages, thereby restoring the natural flow of life energy. This promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, reduces stress, and supports the body's self-healing powers. Reiki brings tranquility and balance and is a wonderful method to rediscover inner balance and strengthen health.

What is Reiki?

Mikao Usui

This method is based on the belief that a universal energy flow permeates the world and can be absorbed by all living things. This energy is called 'Reiki', where 'Rei' means 'Spirit' or 'Soul', and 'Ki' means 'Life Energy'.

Reiki originated in Japan and dates back to the late 19th century. The practice was developed by Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk and scholar, who embarked on a spiritual quest. After intense meditation, Usui claimed to have acquired the ability to channel a universal energy for healing purposes and spiritual growth. He then developed the basic principles and techniques of Reiki and began passing them on to students.

How Does a Reiki Treatment Work?

During a Reiki treatment, the person being treated lies comfortably clothed on a couch. The Reiki practitioner places their hands on or above various parts of the body to transfer energy and balance the energy flow in the body. During the session, the person being treated may feel a pleasant sensation of warmth or tingling and enter a state of deep relaxation. After the treatment, there will be a short period of rest to process the experiences.
